Lenze Brakes With A Spring Application

Lenze brakes that are spring-applied and have an electromagnetic release are used to controllably stop or quickly slow down moving objects.

The braking force is produced by compression springs, thus even in the case of a mains failure, the friction-generated torque is still usable.

Moving masses may be swiftly slowed down or accelerated with the application of electromagnetic clutches and brakes. They can also be purchased as a single-housing clutch/brake combo device.
